Every aspect of care at Clinic by the Bay is provided by our dedicated volunteers with the support of a small team of staff who oversee clinic operations. Some of our volunteers are retired and others give time to the clinic in addition to their careers, or to fulfill an educational requirement. All volunteers are committed to a culture of mutual respect, caring and community.

Please learn about the steps involved in becoming a Clinic by the Bay volunteer HERE.

It is impossible to have truly healthy communities when one out of three people in our country is uninsured and, therefore, has severely limited access to health care. Until a national solution is created, it takes thoughtful and creative local solutions like Volunteers in Medicine to fill the gap.
